The Solar system is full of rings
The ring of Saturn was first observed in the 1600s. Several space travels and more powerful telescopes invented later on revealed more about the Saturn’s ring. However, it is not only Saturn that has the ring system. Rings were observed on Jupiter, Uranus, and Neptune too. It is believed that each planet has their own reasons for the ring system. Saturn’s ring, in particular, might have come from a broken-up moon. Similarly, rings were also discovered around one of the asteroids, Chariklo in 2014.
