Rheasilvia, which is the tallest mountain ever discovered in the solar system, is triple the height of Mount Everest. Scientists had previously thought that Olympus Mons on Mars was the tallest land structure in the Solar system. However, in 2011, the Rheasilvia was found to be taller than the gigantic Olympus Mons.
